About Me
I’ve always been drawn to art and design—it’s simply part of who I am. My approach is deeply intuitive; I just know when something feels right. Whether it's a space, a colour palette, or a composition in my artwork, I trust my instincts to create harmony and balance.
My journey has led me through many creative fields, from cartography and interior design to web design and fine art. With formal training in both web and interior design—and years of hands-on experience—I’ve developed a strong foundation in design principles, colour theory, and spatial awareness. Whether I’m styling interiors, guiding renovations, or painting in the studio, each chapter has shaped the way I see the world and how I create.
Why I Do What I Do
At the heart of everything I create is a deep love for design. It’s more than just an aesthetic pursuit—it’s about shaping spaces and experiences that feel right. Good design should evoke emotion, tell a story, and create a sense of connection. Whether through interiors, colour palettes, or artwork, my goal is always to bring harmony and meaning to the spaces and brands I work with.
My Design & Artistic Approach
I see design as an intuitive process—it's about creating balance, not just visually but in how a space or piece of art makes you feel. My ability to blend colour, texture, and form comes naturally, allowing me to craft environments that are both inviting and deeply personal. I’m particularly drawn to the rhythms of nature, especially the ocean and coastal landscapes, which influence my work in subtle yet powerful ways.
The Journey to Now
My career has taken me from Australia to Canada and back again, working on projects ranging from resort interiors and private home renovations to branding and web design. These experiences have allowed me to develop a versatile skill set, combining creativity with practicality.
Moving to Tannum Sands was a turning point. Here, I rediscovered my passion for art, encouraged by a local gallery to showcase my work. This led to deeper involvement in the arts community, where I’ve contributed not just as an artist but also through volunteering my time with rebranding, renovations, and leadership roles. I love seeing creativity bring people together and transform spaces. Being surrounded by a supportive, creative community has been a rewarding experience that continues to inspire my work.
What I Hope to Share
Through my art and design, I want to create work that resonates with people on a deeper level. Whether it's a painting that brings joy to someone’s home, a thoughtfully designed interior that feels like a sanctuary, my goal is always the same—to craft something meaningful and beautiful.
